The preservation of health is easier than the cure of disease.
Dr. Domingo has been practicing since 1996 in North Vancouver, and joined Westside Chiropractic and Associates in June 2010 to practice with Dr. Hoy and be closer to home, as he grew up and lives on the westside.
He also practices at Canopy Integrated Health in Lynn Valley when not at Westside, facilitating his continued chiropractic care of his North Vancouver patients.
Dr. Domingo is a past director for the College of Chiropractors of BC, chair of the Quality Assurance Committee for the College of Chiropractors of BC, a past member of the Ethics and Discipline Committee for the College of Chiropractors of BC, and is a clinical examiner for the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board. He graduated from UBC with a degree in Microbiology, and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon with honors.
Apart from helping patients improve their lives by addressing their neuromusculoskeletal health concerns, Dr. Domingo enjoys his involvement as a coach and volunteer with Dunbar Little League, Vancouver United FC, Dunbar Soccer Association, and Vancouver Thunderbird Minor Hockey. He also is an avid golfer, soccer player, and general all-round athlete.
Having participated in ice hockey, ball hockey, basketball, cycling, kayaking, dragon boating, running, tennis, racquetball, skiing, swimming and skating, as well having experienced various sports-related ailments himself, Dr. Domingo has a special interest and perspective in dealing with athletes and treating sports-related injuries. He has learned that prevention, early intervention, regular maintenance, proper preparation and training are of utmost importance in avoiding injury, accelerating recovery and increasing longevity in both sports and everyday activities. He has firsthand experience with custom-made orthotics and is able to evaluate, prescribe and provide these and other orthopedic devices to his patients, as he has solid relationships with multiple pedorthic laboratories in Canada and the USA. He is able to have them customized for skate, ski boot and dress shoe/heel applications.
When not at work, play or volunteering his time, he spends it with his family, and friends. He especially enjoys traveling, and having adventures with his children, Olivia, Nicholas, Kingston, and Mackenzie teaching them about the world we live in.
